Here’s a look at the systems we’re monitoring : • Post-Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle: Continuing to weaken as it heads to Portugal’s Azores. No direct impacts to the United States. • Tropical Storm Humberto: Humberto is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane on Friday and eventually a major hurricane this weekend. Thankfully, for the United States, it is expected to curve out to sea, posing no direct threat. • Invest 94L: This is the system to watch. Currently a tropical wave near Hispaniola and the Turks and Caicos Islands. It has a high chance (90%) of developing into a tropical depression near the Bahamas late Friday or over the weekend.
