Long Beach is hosting a community wellness event this weekend to connect neighbors and promote resources that support the health and well-being of middle school-aged youth.

The free event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MacArthur Park, 1321 E. Anaheim St.

Part of the city’s Neighbor-to-Neighbor program, the event will focus on fostering connection and building communities that come together to engage locally, according to a press release.
