KENNEBEC COUNTY -- Jessica Cox was convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor back in June 2021, and served nearly five years in prison before being placed on probation for six years. Thursday, she was back in court for violating her probation.

Cox was convicted after taking sexually explicit photos of a minor and sending them to her boyfriend at the time.

Today, she admitted to two probation violations, including failure to obtain permission before changing her address.

Judge William Stokes ruled she will remain on probation, but conditions were added to her probation, including completing evaluation and treatment for sex offending, substance abuse, psychological issues, and she is not allowed to possess internet-enabled devices without permission
