CHEYENNE — The Laramie County Library System is expanding its Pine Bluffs branch for an initial price of $1.

LCLS Executive Director Antonia Gaona said this comes after decades of calls from Pine Bluffs residents to expand the branch library in the eastern Laramie County community.

“We’ve heard for more than two decades that our library in Pine Bluffs is not sufficient,” Gaona said Thursday during a presentation to the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne. “If you haven’t been to Pine Bluffs, it is a very small library.”

Unlike the Cheyenne location, she said the Pine Bluffs branch library lacks even one community meeting room, study spaces or space for library events, programs or story time.
