BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - This week’s KBTX Sports & American Momentum Bank Classroom Champion is Shaylee McCowan.

The Iola High School senior has a 4.16 grade point average and ranks No. 1 in her class. McCowan is involved in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and FFA.

She also participates in UIL competitions and has advanced to the state level in headline writing, along with being successful at the district level in biology and robotics.

When it comes to athletics, Shaylee knows no offseason. She will have earned 15 varsity letters by the time graduation rolls around in volleyball, basketball, softball and track.
