The forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall has set emergency preparations in motion, with authorities across the capital placed on high alert.
The weather office has predicted cloudy skies with moderate rain over Hyderabad on September 26, intensifying to heavier downpours on September 27 and 28. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 26 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, with high humidity adding to the discomfort. Lighter rainfall is likely to linger over the weekend, before easing after September 29.
