A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 11:23 p.m. in effect until Friday at 8 a.m. for Cortland County.
The weather service states to expect, "Visibility of a quarter mile or less in dense fog."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," comments the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."
