IDAHO, USA — Four Idaho organizations will receive more than $11 million in federal grants to help homeless veterans find housing and essential services throughout 2026.
The funding targets veterans experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless, providing resources including housing assistance, health care, financial planning services and childcare.
El-Ada Incorporation, Blue Mountain Action Council, Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest and the Homeless Veterans Fellowship will distribute the grants. The organizations offer legal assistance, medical care and housing services specifically for veterans.
Officials at the Boise Department of Veterans Affairs office said the funding helps address service gaps in veteran care.
"It's just so meaningful," said Anna Johnson W
