NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – A large, scenic stretch of land near Abiquiu is up for sale. It belongs to a Hollywood legend, actress Shirley MacLaine. The stunning 7,500-acre property has striking geological features. The ranch brokers said the landscape was even an inspiration for the famous painter Georgia O'Keeffe. "The Plaza Blanca Ranch is best known for its unique geological formations, its expansive views, and its cultural significance. The white sandstone cliffs were immortalized by the painter Georgia O'Keeffe, who was inspired by the dramatic landscapes around Abiquiu," said Robert Martin, Ranch Broker with Fay Ranches.
