EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team knock off Morehead State in Ohio Valley Conference play behind a late goal by Josie Pochocki.

In a match that had 20 total shots, it was mostly a defensive battle between the Screaming Eagles and the Eagles of Morehead State. Both teams had five shots on goal, while USI had one more save on the night. The lone goal came in the 80th minute by Pochocki in the box off of an assist by Emerson Grafton.

Anna Markland played the full game for the Screaming Eagles, recording those five saves. While Pochocki alone had four shots including three on goal.

USI will face Southeast Missouri State Sunday, September 28th, in Strassweg Field at 1:05 p.m. The match is on the Screaming Eagles Senior Day and is set to air on E
