Two groups that oppose the reuse and discharge of hydraulic fracturing wastewater have filed petitions seeking to disqualify half the members of the New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission from hearing a case, arguing their "impartiality and fairness ... have been compromised."
The organizations argue there were attempts by the Governor's Office to sway the outcome in favor of fracking.
