SALISBURY — While definitely not new to the Salvation Army, Mike Anderson has become the new corp administrator with the Salvation Army of Rowan County, a role he assumed June 23, putting him in charge of all operations of the local organization.

As a Salvation Army officer’s child, Anderson said your only home is where they are at the time and being in junior high and high school while in Charlotte, counts that as where he’s from.

Anderson’s family heritage is one of service in the Salvation Army with multiple members who have served or are serving as officers including his grandfather, Brigadier Harmon H.B. Anderson; his father, Lt. Col. Ha
