SPOKANE, Wash. -- The clients and staff at a local nonprofit now have newly renovated spaces to rest in and enjoy, thanks to the 4 News Now Extreme Team!
On Thursday, Mark Peterson and the 4 News Now Extreme Team unveiled their finished work at Miryam's House, a transitional home on Spokane's South Hill that serves women who are recovering from substance use or have survived domestic violence. Many of them are transitioning out of homelessness.
The Extreme Team and its community partners worked to convert an office into two new bedrooms, renovate the dining room and completely redo the basement, pouring new concrete flooring to make the space comfy and cozy.
Thank you to everyone who made this important project possible!
