GLENDALE, Ariz. - In a game almost too close for comfort, the Seattle Seahawks (3-1) survived a late scare from the Arizona Cardinals (2-2), and they held on for the 23-20 win.
Seattle's defense provided a dominant first three quarters, forcing two Kyler Murray interceptions, but it faltered in the fourth quarter as Arizona scored back-to-back touchdowns to tie the game late in the final frame.
Jason Myers then added a 52-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Seahawks to the win, their third in a row overall and eighth in a row over the Cardinals.
The win also keeps Seattle perfect over Arizona all-time on Thursday night (4-0).
The Seahawks next return home to welcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1:05 p.m.
