PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A sigh of relief is being felt by a mother who told FOX 12 she was living in fear after learning her son’s accused murderer was mistakenly released.
That suspect was caught on Thursday and rearrested on the Oregon coast with the help of U.S. Marshals.
“I feel much better, I feel a lot of relief, now that he’s back in custody where he should be,” said mother Jodie Ramsey.
Ramsey said she can finally sleep without fearing her son’s accused killer is on the streets after mistakenly being released from jail.
“We’re on extra edge right now, we’ve been on extra edge for the last few days, but we can have a little bit of relief and not be on edge so much knowing he is back in custody,” said Ramsey.
