WOOLWICH – Kingsway junior running back Cole DeNick packs a pop when he is playing linebacker and even more so while running the ball. DeNick only carried the ball 19 times in Kingsway’s first four games, but in extended duty he showed he could certainly shoulder the load.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound junior rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries to lead Kingsway to a 45-6 win over Camden Eastside in an interdivisional West Jersey Football League game.
Ranked No. 11 in the Courier’s Post’s South Jersey Mean 15, Kingsway has now improved to 4-1, with the lone loss a 26-21 defeat in the second game of the season to No. 10 Camden.
