A country music star has admitted his health has "taken a turn". ‌

The musician has issued a health update following his cancer diagnosis after Raul Malo broke the news in a recent social media post before his upcoming treatment. ‌

Raul, who is now 60 and serves as frontman for The Mavericks, revealed he had been diagnosed with colon cancer last year. He has previously undergone treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery, following the news. ‌
