Chennis Berry admitted his team faced a “tall task” going up against FBS South Florida Saturday in Tampa. The Bulldogs were outscored 35-0 in the third quarter as USF ran away with a 63-14 victory.

“We had to come with our A-game,” Berry said. “I thought we entered the game with an outstanding plan. We came in focused, ready for the challenge. I liked the effort we got from our (players) but the execution is where we fell a little short.”

Berry complimented the team on a fast start as the offense drove the ball 70 yards on its opening possession only to throw an interception that was returned 93 yards for a touchdown.
