INDIANAPOLIS -- A late Thursday night shooting left three people injured on the near southeast side of Indianapolis.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11:40 p.m. to a residence in the 1900 block of East Minnesota Street. A caller, who was not at the scene, said someone had been shot at the location.

When officers arrived, they located two adults with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was taken to Eskenazi Hospital and the second victim was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital. IMPD said both victims were in stable condition.

While officers were on scene, they learned a third person had arrived at Eskenazi Hospital with reported gunshot wounds. IMPD said the third victim, an adult, was in stable condition.
