Chandigarh, September 26, 2025: During the special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha convened to discuss the recent floods, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of exploiting a natural disaster for political gains.

Cheema alleged that instead of supporting relief measures, Congress leaders were engaging in “politics over dead bodies” and obstructing efforts to provide timely aid to flood victims.
