Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today held a meeting with the Jorhat Deputy Commissioner, Jay Shivani and other stakeholders to discuss arrangements for Assam’s most loved son and legendary singer Zubeen Garg’s rituals to be held in Jorhat.

The discussions also focused on developing Zubeen Garg’s Samadhi in the town that will reflect his life and times in the most fitting manner.

“Held a meeting with Jorhat DC and other stakeholders to discuss plans for #BelovedZubeen’s rituals to be held in Jorhat and the way ahead in developing his Samadhi in the town which will reflect his life and times in the most fitting manner,” CM Sarma tweeted.
