GEORGE SPRINGER sparked controversy after appearing to accuse Major League Baseball of fixing games.
The Toronto Blue Jays star made the claim after being left fuming with an umpire decision on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox .
The Blue Jays are currently the league leaders, a position they have held for two months.

Springer hit what appeared to be a bases loaded double in the second inning of the game, only for the umpire to call it a foul ball.
