PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Emergency Management Agency wants to send off this “National Preparedness Month” with an event for the young and young at heart.

Tomorrow, the Providence Fire Department and Police Department will show off their vehicles at Roger Williams Park, for a “Touch-a-Truck” event.

The event is not only to get kids excited about their first responders but also to show of Providence’s capabilities.

That event is set for 10 tomorrow morning.
