The Telangana High Court Thursday granted permission to the Sajjadah of Khanqah-e-Nooria to hold a series of religious events scheduled for October 2 to 7, 2025, after his representations to the police and other officials went unanswered. The planned events include ‘Burdah Shareef’ and ‘Jalsa Faizaan-e-Ghouse Aazam’ at Dargah Shareef Noori Shah and ‘Ziyarat-e-Aassaar-e-Mubarak’ at Masjid-e-Noori in Bandlaguda.

The petitioner, Jamia Ilahiyate Nooria, challenged the ‘refusal to grant permission’, claiming it was a violation of religious rights guaranteed under Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution. The issue was complicated because another party had already secured a permit for the same period.
