Premji, this week, turned down a request from Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to open a road on Wipro's campus to limited traffic movement, and help decongest a key road in Bengaluru's IT corridor.

Siddaramaiah is a chief minister who has failed to ease the pain of daily commute for millions in a district that is the cash cow of his state, Karnataka. With the heart clogged, Sidda wants a bypass . And for that he is requesting a private company to open its gates to public traffic flow.
