SEATTLE -- Ohio State coach Ryan Day gave the news at his Wednesday press conference that defensive back Lorenzo Styles Jr. is healthy and ready to play against Washington.

That is, if he remains as the starting slot cornerback full-time.

The experienced Styles has been a member of the starting lineup through the first three games of the season, but left the matchup against Ohio -- after surrendering a touchdown pass -- with an injury.

While he’s ready to go for the game against the Huskies, the option now feels likelier for Ohio State to use a base package with three cornerbacks of Davison Igbinosun and Devin Sanchez on the outside, with Jermaine Mathews Jr. on the inside in the slot role.
