The Bolts took a trip up the 405 freeway the day after Week 3 for a special occasion.

Chargers tackle Joe Alt and Susie Spanos, wife of Chargers Chairman of the Board and Controlling Owner Dean Spanos, recently visited patients at the UCLA Health Bowyer Oncology Center and UCLA Health Pediatrics Infusion Center.

As part of the continued partnership between UCLA Health and the Chargers, the two went around through the hospital, visiting different patients, staff and interacting with them and their families.

It was a special day for all involved.

"It was amazing," Alt said. "I had this day circled for a long time. Just to be able to experience it was really, really special for me and something I'll never forget."
