The new season of “Law & Order” picked up where last season’s shocking ending left off — with trouble for Maroun (Odelya Halevi).
Season 24 concluded in May with the murder of a man named Carter Mills, who was acquitted in the death of a model. Mills’ DNA on the victim also happened to match evidence from an unsolved 12-year-old case: the murder of ADA Samantha Maroun’s sister, Christina.
After Mills was shot and killed following the acquittal, which came after EADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) didn’t look the other way on a key piece of evidence, the police turned its focus to Maroun.
Halevi tells TODAY.com she “loved” being a person of interest.
