BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon will return for its 13th year on Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11.

The two-day event will feature a full marathon, half marathon, 26K and Unified 2K on Saturday, along with 5K, 10K and kids races on Friday.

Registration is still open for the kids 1/2K, Kids 1K, 5K, 10K, Unified 2K Run, Walk, and Roll, half marathon and full marathon.

In this year's Runner Guide, race director Philip Knutson noted that some of the routes have been altered due to the June storm that toppled more than 9 million trees in the Bemidji area.
