LINCOLN, Neb. —

A 74-year-old inmate died Friday at a Lincoln correctional facility, according to the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.

Steven Murray was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder at the Reception and Treatment Center.

A cause of death has not been determined, but officials said that Murray was being treated for a medical condition.

A grand jury will investigate Murray's death, as is standard practice.
