GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department has made an arrest in the murder case of 19-year-old Kaneycha Turner, they announced on Friday afternoon.

Rishon Elias Weaver, 20, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, police said.

The shooting happened back in 2022 when six people were shot on Circle Drive.

Two people, Turner and 15-year-old Ronaldlee Snipes, were killed, police said. Four others were hurt.

According to police, Weaver's arrest is separate from the shooting death of Snipes, and he is only charged with Turner's murder.
