FOXBORO — The Patriots had perfect practice attendance Friday with rookie left guard Jared Wilson returning to the field.

Wilson had missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with ankle and knee injuries. It still seems likely that Ben Brown will start in his place, but Wilson’s participation Friday at least opens the possibility that he will play Sunday against the Panthers.

Cornerback Christian Gonzalez also practiced for the sixth straight session. He did miss last Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury suffered July 28.

Wilson, a 2025 third-round pick, hasn’t allowed a sack this season, per PFF. He has allowed two QB hits and seven hurries.

Brown has yet to take an offensive snap this year. He started 10 games at center in 2024.
