The Wood River Wolverines girls soccer team honored eight senior players for Senior Night festivities before its 6-0 victory over the Minico Spartans in Idaho Class 5A Great Basin Conference soccer action on Wednesday at Phil Homer Field in Hailey. The victory improved the Wolverines’ record on the season to 8-4 (6-1 Great Basin Conference). Wood River returns to Founders Field on Friday to take on a non-conference team in the Century Diamondbacks before hosting the Twin Falls Bruins on Monday. Start time of both games is set for 4 p.m. in Hailey.
