HOMEWOOD, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Homewood Police say a man has been arrested in a road rage shooting that happened Sept. 17 on Lakeshore Parkway.

Charles Hargrove, 57, of Birmingham is charged with attempted murder, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, and 2 counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Investigators believe one of the cars he fired at was involved in the road rage incident, two others were inadvertently hit.

Hargrove is in the Homewood City Jail and will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail where he will be held on a total bond of $135,000.

Court records show Hargrove has been convicted of multiple felonies and is prohibited from owning a gun.
