New Delhi: Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Cole Palmer will be out until the international break and will miss the club’s next two Premier League matches against Brighton and Liverpool. He will also miss Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Benfica.

The midfielder went off after just 21 minutes in Chelsea’s 1-2 defeat against Manchester United last weekend and didn’t feature in their win against Lincoln City on Tuesday. The England international has made just two starts this season.

The Blues are currently placed in sixth position in the points table. Ahead of their match against Brighton and Hove Albion, Maresca said that they decided to protect Cole a little bit, and his injury is not getting worse.
