WASHINGTON - Elon Musk's xAI is making its latest Grok AI models, Grok 4 and Grok 4 Fast, available to U.S. federal agencies for less than half a dollar per agency.

According to an announcement by the General Services Administration (GSA) on Thursday, xAI has reached a "OneGov" agreement with the federal government, making Grok AI models available to federal agencies for 42-cents per agency for 18 months--until March of 2027. Additionaly, the GSA said, xAI is providing dedicated engineers to quickly help those agencies learn how to use their AI tools in their work.
