LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - After several days where we saw showers and storms this week, things are looking good for the weekend and pretty much next week, too.

It will be a very nice Friday evening across our area with clear skies for the evening and a few clouds arriving overnight. Pleasant temperatures are expected overnight with lows in the mid to upper 50s.

This nice weather will continue for Saturday as we see lots of sunshine and just a few passing clouds. A stray shower can’t be ruled out south and southeast as we see highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Sunday will feature lots of sunshine throughout the day as everyone looks to stay completely dry. It will be another warm one with highs in the low to mid 80s.
