The quick actions of Chatham-Kent police officer Sgt. Fraser Leontowicz is being credited for helping save the life of an infant.
A two-week-old infant was experiencing a medical emergency on Tuesday just before 3:30 p.m., said Chatham-Kent police in a media release issued Wednesday.

“The officer arrived within two minutes of the call and found the infant unresponsive,” police said. “Drawing on his first aid and CPR training, Sgt. Leontowicz immediately executed lifesaving measures, as every second mattered.”
Within moments, the infant regained consciousness and was alert, police said.
