MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Senior Brady Kaufman’s 238 yards and three touchdowns was an accomplishment of itself in the Cardinals’ 37-13 win over Sun Prairie West on Friday.

However, it was slightly overseen with his major milestone of breaking Sun Prairie’s all-time rushing record.

“Once I broke that second level and I saw nobody in front of me, I threw my hands up and thanked God for the opportunity and for giving me the pleasure to do that,” Kaufman said.

It was 3,310 yards that Kaufman broke, which was held by former Sun Prairie running back, Matt Anderson, who couldn’t be happier that the record is now in someone else’s hands.

“I couldn’t be more happy for (Brady),” Anderson said. “He’s a good guy. He deserves it, so I’m happy for him.”
