DEERFIELD TWP., Pa. (WETM) – A Knoxville woman has been arrested on various charges following an incident of assault and harassment in Deerfield Township on Monday.

Roshanti Plaza, 42, was arrested on the following charges, as stated in a release from the Pennsylvania State Police: • Aggravated assault (grade 1 felony) • Simple assault • Terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize another • Harassment

Officials say Plaza was charged with the crimes following an incident that occurred at a home on Route 249 in Deerfield Township on Monday, Sept. 22, around 9 p.m. At this time, officials say they were called to the home for the report of an assault.

Upon arrival at the scene, officials say Plaza had barricaded the front door and refused to come out of the residence. Officials
