BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — Five foreign nationals were arrested and charged in a South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) operation in Beaufort County.

The operation started in Bluffton, S.C., where the Beaufort County Sheriff's Department assisted SLED with the service of state warrants. SLED agents later went to Hilton Head Island in search of five individuals for identity fraud.

SLED charged the following individuals: • Francisco Ramirez Santiago, 43. • Pablo Ramirez Santiago, 46. • Arelio Saul Galicia De Leon, 53. • Erick Alfons Clauel Gonzalez, 28. • Jose Moreno Romero, 56.

According to the warrants, some of the men had used Social Security Numbers of U.S. Citizens to obtain employment at a local business in Bluffton.
