Local citizens, elected officials, health professionals and advocates are calling for a local recovery rehabilitation center accessible to people in Wilmington who face addiction - as well as for more and more people visiting the city in search of drugs.

3rd District Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver said during a street-corner rally on the East Side that a facility is needed in an area where addiction, drug-dealing and related violence often occur.
