A 31-year-old woman who police say falsely reported her 3-year-old daughter as being kidnapped at gunpoint in Delaware earlier this year has been extradited to Maryland where she faces murder charges in connection with the child's killing.

Darrian Lynnelle Randle's transfer to Maryland came through an agreement between Delaware's and Maryland's governors, according to the Cecil County, Maryland, state's attorney. This means Randle will face charges that claim she beat her daughter, Nola Dinkins, to death in June before she faces charges lodged against her in Delaware where she was being held until recently.

Randle, on Sept. 25, appeared virtually from the Cecil County Detention Center in Elkton for her initial appearance in the county's Circuit Court after being indicted by a Cecil Count
