Year 31 for the Toronto Raptors kicked off a little differently than what we’ve grown accustomed to for more than a decade now.
Instead of Masai Ujiri taking the stage to give his thoughts on the coming season and banter with the Toronto media, it was Ujiri’s long-time lieutenant, Bobby Webster, who now heads basketball operations.
Webster looked confident and typically calm, and spoke optimistically, but still somewhat cautiously about what’s to come.
