PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — More than a million Oster French Door Countertop Ovens have been recalled because the doors can unexpectedly close, posing a burn hazard to users.

According to the recall notice, Sunbeam Products has received 95 reports of people getting burned by the ovens, including two that resulted in second-degree burns.

The affected ovens were sold from August 2015 through July 2025 at stores nationwide including Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and Costco, and online through Amazon and Overstock.
