With the start of training camp just days away, the Portland Trail Blazers announced on Friday that guard Scoot Henderson will be out 4-8 weeks with a hamstring tear.
The team said in a press release that Henderson suffered the injury to his left hamstring “during an off-season workout this week. Henderson will begin rehabilitation and is expected to return to basketball activities in 4-8 weeks.”
Joe Freeman of Oregonlive.com/The Oregonian reported Henderson was injured in a pick-up game at the team’s training facility in Tualatin, Ore.
The Blazers have media day on Monday prior to the opening of training camp. Their first preseason game is Oct. 8 at the Golden State Warriors.
