Welcome to Week 6 of the Florida high school football season in the Gainesville area.

The week actually began Thursday when Oak Hall demolished P.K. Yonge 45-0 in a little uneven city rivalry.

Friday, though, all the city's eyes turn to Citizens Field for a matchup between two of the top 11 teams in the state. Nease visits Buchholz, with the victor likely winning the district. A similar game is transpiring 78 miles east in St. Augustine with Columbia traveling from Lake City.

Elsewhere, Eastside begins district play at Dunnellon and Santa Fe faces its toughest test yet vs. University Christian from Jacksonville.
