RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) - Thursday night, a crash involving multiple vehicles resulted in the death of a 31 year-old Phenix City woman. Tiffany Petway was a passenger in a car that was involved in a fatal head-on crash.

Both drivers were injured in the crash, and each were taken to Piedmont Midtown Medical Center for treatment.

The crash happened on U.S. 80 near the 207 mile marker, around three miles west of Phenix City. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating.
