MADISON (WKOW) -- On Friday, Rep. Lisa Subeck, D-Madison, reintroduced legislation aimed at guaranteeing access to contraception in Wisconsin.

Subeck held a roundtable discussion to announce the legislation.

The Right to Contraception Act was reintroduced one day after Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin announced it will no longer provide abortions starting Oct. 1.

The FDA is also reviewing multiple abortion pills for safety and effectiveness.

The bill would establish a right for people to obtain and use contraception, and for health care providers to dispense it.
