STAR LAKE, New York (WWNY) - Clifton-Fine Hospital is celebrating its new emergency room addition.
Officials cut the ribbon Friday afternoon on the project that’s been in the works for about 4 years.
We’ve previously reported that the addition has three private rooms and one trauma bay and all new equipment.
Clifton Fine is also becoming a rural emergency hospital and will no longer take inpatients. It’s the first in the state to get the designation.
Officials say they will be putting the finishing touches on the new facility over the next couple of weeks and expect it to be open on November 13.
